BeWater – Invitation to a Consultation on Water Management Measures in the Vipava River Basin
You are cordially invited to the consultation on water management measures in the Vipava River basin taking place at the Ajdovščina Regional Chamber of Craft and Small Business (Vipavska cesta 4, 5270 Ajdovščina) on Monday, 12 October 2015, from 9:00 to 13:00.
The BeWater project is three and a half years long. Its objective is to formulate an adaptation plan for the Vipava River basin water management plan. As part of the BeWater project, we are actively engaged with stakeholders from the Vipava River basin area and from the other three pilot catchment areas (Spain, Cyprus, Tunisia). By employing various participatory techniques and a bottom-up approach, we ensure that stakeholders are involved in discussions on water use in the Vipava River basin and in formulating a water management plan with regard to climate change adaptation.
The objective of the consultation is to substantively present, verify and complete the water management measures for the Vipava River basin that were designed in the project activities to date.
