The Slovenian Water Institute at Mediterranean Coast Week: specialist talks and an exhibition on marine litter
On Monday, 15 September 2025, a workshop entitled: ‘Climate Resilience: From Source to Sea’, organised as part of Mediterranean Coast Week and Macro-regional Strategies. The event was attended by representatives of the Water Research Institute of the Republic of Slovenia, who actively contributed with two expert presentations.
Workshop on micro-waste sampling in the River Drava – a step towards harmonised methodologies in the Danube region
The aim of the workshop was to harmonise the various approaches to sampling micro-waste in rivers, with a view to ensuring consistency and comparability of results amongst the project partners. Such methodological harmonisation and the exchange of experiences are crucial for reliable project results across all pilot sites.
